For the disassembly the following steps are necessary
- At first unscrew the locking ring and take out the battery-pack.
(Picture 1)
- Pull out the the steel bolt with a gripper.
(Picture 2)
- Now the clamp can be descomposed into three main parts.
(Picture 3).
To get to the switch, unlock both screws in the inner part of the clamp.
(Picture 4).
Now the switch can be unsoldered.
(Picture 5).
Push the wiring into the hilt to get out the inner life later. After the remove the
last screw to move the clamp on the hilt. Now the boreholes are open.
- Unlock the four screws at the emitter as well as the both
small ones underneath the emitter. For better working, the emitter can be deducted from
the hilt
(Picture 6),
(Picture 7) and
(Picture 8).
- Now push out the blade and the inner life trought the hilt.
- Separate the soundboard-case from the bladeholder and the wiring
(Picture 9).
- Lift off both small steel bolts in the bladeholder with a
thin tool and remove the inner tube
(Picture 10) and
(Picture 11).
- Push the aglet, which holds the blade into the bladeholder,
with a nail or another pointy tool and pull out the blade out of the bladeholder
(Picture 12) and
(Picture 13).
- In the blade there is a plastic holder for the LED-strip.
To remove this the small aglet has to be pushed with a small tool into the blade and the
plastic holder
(Picture 14).
After this one can pull out the LED-strip and the plastic holder and separate them.
Descompose the holder into two parts and pull out the aglet
(Picture 15).
When reassembling the saber this aglet will be striked into the holder again, until it is flush with the blade
(Picture 16)
Note
If you want to coverse this saber into a High Power LED Saber, look at the tutorial
for the Anakin ROTS High Power LED conversion. The procedure is the same, so we abstain from
a conversion tutorial.
