The soundmodule is the heart of the saber. From here all effects are steered, that make these sabers so interesting. There are different types of these modules, with different ports for blade and clash sensor. Every soundmodule has an individual sound, depending on the year it was built. The movement sensors are on the sound module, too, from here the “clapping” comes. The sensors are made out of a small tube with two contacts at the ends, through that a small ball roll. Touches this ball one of the contacts, the sound is activated. The modules are packed well in a plastic pack, which has to be dissembled! The wiring looks like this:
